The makers of SILVERPRO™ Performance Products chose La Luna to create an ecommerce website to handle orders from a national TV ad campaign they would be running on several major cable networks. Featuring baseball great Willie Randolph, the commercial's anticipated response rate was high, so the site had to be able to handle heavy traffic and have a seamless user-experience. The most important feature was to be an easy-to-use custom order form that would eliminate the standard 3-step order process: product page > shopping cart > checkout page. A more streamlined user experience was desired via a one-page order & checkout process right on the home page, enabling customers to quickly flow through and complete their purchases without being directed to a separate checkout page.
Excited to be a part of this project, La Luna first conducted a detailed competitor analysis. After gathering data, we were able to determine a target audience through psychographic profiling, helping us to uniquely brand the product line. Once a brand direction was determined, we developed the site focusing on a great user experience. We designed a user-friendly order form located directly on the home page. The multi-functional form allows customers to complete the purchase without leaving the home page, creating a smooth user-experience, and thereby greatly increasing conversion potential. Coding was light and clean, and the need for a shopping cart was eliminated. Easy, UI/UX design interface.
